Many thanks to the group members who selected the plants, in consultation with the residents, then purchased them, picked them up and sorted them by nature strip.

On planting day came the creative work of deciding how to lay out the plants. Then came the hole digging, planting and watering. About a hundred plants went into each nature strip. They’ve got a lot of growing to do!

Judith and Shirley relax after finishing Shirley’s nature strip.

Almost finished planting Nature Strip No 2.

Plant an indigenous nature strip according to the City of Greater Dandenong guidelines and we’ll give you a sticker!
